Charge the wholy living hell out of the batteries. If the batteries say stop! Charge them longer. You might be able to beat them into submission. But that only works for a short period.

Thanks for reading my thread. I'm going to be hoping back to it soon.

You think it's worth replacing the solenoid?

The solenoid is either working or it isn't. Your scratching too early to be swapping parts. That's going to get expensive if you just want to shotgun parts to fix your issues.

Find yourself 3 12v batteries for your testing. Yes I said 3 12 volt batteries. I give you permission. But for testing only.

Hope we can assume this "auto 24 volt" has a 12v setting?

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but two 6v on a 24v cycle is bad mojo....

You could do 4 at a time tho.....

my bad, 12v is what I meant. I know the batteries are from 07, but I've distilled /epsom salt refurbed them and they hold enough charge for testing I would think.

The reason I am thinking the solenoid is bad is because I don't hear a click, only a click from the switch.

I'm not going to trust anything you say until you have pure 36+ volts to troubleshoot with. I hate to be "That guy" but I will. I have seen too many threads go backwards only because the person didn't have a full pack.
