Before I bought Sam's batteries for our golf car, I took our bathroom scales into Sam's and weighed one of their batteries. It was within 1-1.5 pounds of other golf car batteries. I've only had them 1.5 years, but they still charge up to the same voltage as new. Have fun, Dave |

You might also want to take a peek at NAPA. Their 8144 is an Exide GC-110 (186AH) and their 8146 is an Exide GC-135 (226AH), which roughly equal to a T-105. |

Re: Go with Exide....
Here is a great link EVERYONE should check out. It is a list of battery companies and the brands they make. Very informative.

Re: Go with Exide....
I was in Costco the other day and stopped by the tire shop. They sell a 6 volt for $90. Johnson controls makes them. The guy said he's been taking in a lot of Trojans and people are buying their battery. I haven't looked at the specs on the Costco yet. Be interesting to see where it stacks upcompared to the others.

Re: Go with Exide....
What's interesting to me is that people will consider skimping on the most important part of their cart equation. If your engine blows in your car you wouldn't put a smaller engine in it just to save a few bucks. Now I know that comparison is not apples to apples but you still get my point.
