Only if you try to tow it backwards will the seat try to fly off.

Thanks for all the tips guys, but Murphy's law strikes again. I went to pick up the trailer and the writing harness on the SUV I was borrowing didn't work so they wouldn't rent it to me. I really really miss my truck.

I have been using bungee cords on the last two trips I have made to the beach. Otherwise I back on an strap from the front frame back about 3/4 ways. Back tires are up against the front if the trailer.

Works well.

I tow mine to our lake campground and back, once each way, every summer. The trailer I use is too short to tow it facing forward so I back it on. I leave the top on, windshield on and down and have never done anything with the seat. It's a 3 hour trip with at least half of it down I-95 at 65-70mph. Have had no problems with the cart but the last 2 times I towed it, it rained all the way and my radio got wet. It's a marine radio but both times it quit working until it dried out good.

By the way, you know you can buy all kinds of trailer wiring converters pretty cheap to adapt to what you need, right? I have one truck that has a round connector and a flat connector, but all my other vehicles have either one or the other. So, I bought the stuff I need to make a typical trailer wire work with anything I have.

SaltLifeCC - I wish it was that simple. The wiring was messed up somewhere on my Dad's SUV. No power going to the connecter. I used my brother's Tahoe today and finally got it!...Now it's in my garage and I'm starting to clean it up!
