Thank you all for responding! I haven't had time to check it this week. I'm gonna work on it this weekend. It belongs to my aunt and I'm in the process of painting a different body for it and new seat covers. I will post some before and after pics later. I'm just hoping the reverse problem is not the controller.

It is the dial type f&r with the micro switch es like Johnnieb posted.

Finally got around to fixing the reverse and also before and after pics from the rebuild of the DCS. It was the reverse micro switch.
