thanks for this diagram I got it rebuilt but I have something wrong cause it arks like crazy at f/r switch now when I put it in reverse works great in forward . I had to braze a new stud on 1 field coil side . I put brush wire studs on out side slots and field studs on inside slots .and I cant tell from this diagram where they went for sure . any help would be great

rockyw, see you have the same cart I do. How did the final product turn out now? Thought about cracking mine open to replace brushes and clean any wear debris out myself. Is it worth the trouble?

Owner's, Parts, and Service Manuals:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-manuals.html

Dana Axle:

One of the manuals above have the rebuild procedure, as well as how to measure the brushes for excess wear. Did mine with no problems.

I just checked and it's not in the Dana Axle manual.
