hot resister wire
i have a pargo 4 wheel golf cart it is old i think 70s it sat for a long time found a wireing for it and put new batterys in it it has 7 solinoids on it all work . i got it going and drove it and the resistor wire got read hot if i jack it up and run it it gets hot but not red hot just when i drive it pleas help thanks

The reason why resistor drive carts are sometimes referred to as toaster ovens is because the resistors get red hot.
It may be normal. ----------- Is this the type cart you have? |
