cart lifting, atv jack or fork lift
I want to get something to raise my cart up so I don't have to bend over all the time working on it. Looking at the motorcycle/atv lifts, I don't know if they would be very stable with a golf cart on it. Harbor has one for around 400 but it would be hard to move out of the way when its not needed.

Re: cart lifting, atv jack or fork lift
are you trying to get all 4 tires up, or just the front or back? You could probably use a lawn mower lift for just the front or back, but I don't think you'd be able to use 2 of them to get the whole cart up.

After looking at this one from walmart, it may be flat enough to put one under your cart by the back wheels and one in front of the front wheels and drive onto them.

The walmart lift has a 250 lb capacity x two is 500 lb.

Re: cart lifting, atv jack or fork lift
more than 500lb, even (lighter) gas cars weigh more than that. 6-6v Trojan T-105 Batts alone weigh 378lb.

Re: cart lifting, atv jack or fork lift
Cart is close to 1000lbs.
I use axle stands and a regular hydraulic jack. I lift up one side, slide a couple of stands under the frame, then do the same on the other side. I have the HF lift for working on my motorcycles, but it's too narrow to lift the cart. It would be nice to have something that could lift the cart that high, but it would be too bulky to have sitting around. I park one of my bikes on the HF lift. ..a |

Re: cart lifting, atv jack or fork lift
I'm assuming you want it higher than 4 jack stands maxed out? I'm a little guy, but I can easily reach everything with just a floor-jack to get it up on jack stands.
