Default Input shaft teeth, how many?

I need a input shaft and bearing for a 2006 TXT electric cart, anyone know exactly which one I should order (teeth/spline seem to vary)?
Anyone have one, used would be fine too.

19 splines.

Here is a complete kit, including the shaft, gear, two bearings, snap ring and oil seal.

Unless the splines or gear teeth are damaged, you just need the two bearings, snap ring and oil seal, which is much cheaper.

Thanks Johnnie, can the repair be made from the motor side once pulled or do I have to open up the differential?

I've got to replace the bearings on the input shaft myself this winter, and from what I've been able to determine, the input shaft can be R & R with differential is in cart.

Here is the manual, it shows how to remove input shaft on page A-4

You probable should drop the pan and replace the oil.

Replacing for maintenance reasons or do you have noise by the input shaft?

Noise and I'm pretty sure I screw up the bearings through my own stupidity.

The stock PDS motor seized and the cart slid to a stop from about 33MPH and I had a friend haul it home on a flatbed car hauler.
We winched it onto the tilt bed with the tires sliding, but had to get it off the bed by jacking the rear end up and using the wheels on the floor jack
The motor was stuck on the input shaft and it was in front of the house while the tools I needed were in the garage, but I noticed the entire motor case would turn when the mounting bolts and cables were removed, so I towed it to the garage behind a riding lawnmower.

Being aware the motor would spin 12.5 times every time the tire rotated once, I went as slow as possible, but when we got to the garage, the motor was laying on the axle. Apparently the motor case was imbalanced enough to wiggle loose and I suspect it also took out the input shaft bearings in the process.

I had the pan off and didn't find any pieces of gears in the oil other than the normal glitter from wear and it felt and sounded okay when turned by hand and sounded okay when ran with the tires lifted off the ground.

After installing a new motor and controller (The motor took a relatively new DCX400 out when it failed.), I noticed some new noises coming from the rear when moving slow. I thought it was a wheel bearing at first, but when I took the center cover off, it was definitely coming from the top of the differential.

Since the bearings on the input shaft serve as the front bearings for the motor's armature, and motors are mighty expensive, I'm going to change the input shaft bearings and then go from there. Hopefully, it didn't crack the housing.

If I can figure out how to take a short video and send you the link, we can compare noises! I don't think I have "JohnnieB" skills so I appreciate the help.

Does anyone have the part number for the input shaft seal and bearings for a 2006 EZGO TXT electric? I have seen the seal for a gas engine set up, but not electric..... Also, where to order?

Thanks
