It looks like You have 2 power cables on your pack negative, that is not good if You are using the OBC for charging and one of the cables is going around it.

This is what the MCOR looks like and where it is located on your DS.

I couldn't get the 2awg through the obc, so I ran the stock 6awg and also the 2 awg to the controller....

What would you suggest for that part?

Either build a "stud" using a 5/16 x 3-1/2" brass bolt and 2 cables, or You will need to run the cable through the OBC first (without forcing it) and then add the lug afterwards.

This has been discussed many times, here is just one link with more details:

It is also hard to see in your controller picture, but when "stacking" multiple lugs/ring terminals on a single stud, always place the ones that carry the most current first.

That applies to battery posts and the controller terminals where the 5/16 lugs are connected.

If You need to connect two heavy duty 5/16 lugs on the same controller terminal, put one in each side of the terminal with the "flat" profiles flush against the terminal.

Sergio:

So I am fixing the Negative cable in the morning (just need to make a run to Lowes).

As far as testing the pins... I have removed the 3 pin cable from the MCOR. Am I supposed to fit both testers inside the area where the the plug was? It seems like with 2 of them in there I am likely to have them touch each other due to lack of space.

Depending on the shape and length of your meter probes you may need to improvise some wire extensions taped to the end of them.

The good news is that is nothing to short or damage, but You don't want to touch the probes or You will get a bad reading.

If the reading is the same there as it was at the controller, that MCOR is bad, try to get a picture of the label to see if it is another non-OEM part.

If the reading is good, the issue will be in the wiring between the MCOR and the controller.

You did not say how you were going to fix the negative cable, but if You are going to hand-crimp a new lug, do it on the battery side so You can easily inspect it later.

I'm going to replace the MCOR... I'm thinking it is bad... It's giving inconsistent readings with drops at full throttle still. Is there an upgraded one to buy?

Check with Dave at RevolutionGolfcars.com (site sponsor), he sells the OEM MCOR.

Did You ever measure the resistance at the MCOR pins?

If You end up changing it, please post a picture of the unit Your removed showing the model label.

I tested it on the cart... Was a pain. So I uninstalled it and just tested it... Will I get the correct readings with it not on the cart?
