That is a good question- just going on what the model number shows on the end of the control. (See pic above) Could this be a knock off?

We know that's the factory model # but what is it used in. For instance my IQ cart uses a DCX500IQ. I'm thinking it is either a foreign model or a special built one for maybe a 72 volt cart. BTW he should also have a DCX400IQ in his cart.

It looks like DXC400R19 is the part number for the controller without any interface adapter as sold by Nivel.

They then add the appropriate interface to customize it for each application (IQ,PDS,DCS,G19).

This is at least one sold controller from ebay that shows the Nivel tag and Alltrax part number.

Unless You bought the used controller from eBay yourself and just paid the Dealer to install it, I agree with ScottyB they need to refund your money (best option) or they need to make it work.

The same DCX control goes in the PDS as the IQ. The difference is the throttle input selected in programming and Sticker you refer to.
If it was a NCX, non-programmable control, then yes. we need to know how it was set up. But being it runs at all suggests the correct throttle input has been selected.
However there were about 3-4 maps published for CC IQ over the years trying to remedy this throttle problem. We do not know which map is in the control until somebody looks. I hope this helps
