It means the solenoid has failed. When 48+v is present at the 2 small posts you will hear a click as the solenoid closes. No click? No workie.

On behalf on TahoeDawgZ71...

That means the OBC lockout has failed and it is no longer providing the "negative" side of the Solenoid activation.

You can just disconnect the Yellow wire from the small solenoid post and run a new wire from that small post directly to controller B- or pack negative.

When you say you have 51 volts on the small posts, does that mean with the positive lead of your meter on one small post and the negative lead of your meter on the other small post? Are are you running the negative to the battery pack? If you're getting 51 volts with both leads on the solenoid, the solenoid is bad like Scotty said.

Both probes were on the small posts of the solenoid. Sorry about the confusion.

I went ahead and ordered 400amp solenoid with diode and resistor from cartsunlimited. Thanks!

That comes with free install right????

It was the solenoid. Put one of the 400 amp ones from carts unlimited on it. Back on the course now! Thanks!

The small light bule or gray looking wire going to the solenoid should have 48 volts when in the run position and with the key on. The small blue and white wire on the other connector is the b- when the pedal is depressed. This is what has to happen to make the solenoid click. If you have the b+ and b- at he solenoid and it don't click replace the solenoid. If it clicks when the pedal is depressed and still don't go then check the solenoid by jumping a #6 cable from one big post to the other. An automotive jumper cable works well for this. Just do this for a second to see if the wheels turn. It is best to jack up at least one wheel. IF IT WORKS REPLACE THE SOLENOID!

I think You posted on the wrong thread, this is a Series cart, the solenoid negative is provided by the OBC and the positive by the pedal micro switch.

Your description is however accurate for an IQ or Excel cart.
