Well that solves that question then ( very logically lol). There is no change when it is plugged in. I have a digital volt meter for it and it has sat the same regardless of what I do.

No not yet. I called again today just in case I slipped thru the cracks ( I don't want to be the pestering guy) and left George a Voicemail but haven't heard back.

Well he got back to me and gave me links to some additional ( and updated from manual ) tests to run and told me to call him back once I do them. I am sure he is gone for the day but when testing my transformer it is only putting out 3.4 volts so I think unfortunately it is safe to say that I have a bad transformer, and I assume that a new one is more than the unit is worth.

A replacement transformer is usually not economical. A new DPI charger can be had for $285 and it has a float charge option

Thanks for the help. I will look into a DPI now. $285 isn't bad, but kills the budget for my lift :( Gotta pay to play i guess!
