Default Spring riding and problem with lift

Got the old G9 out yesterday and did a little riding up here in western NY. It was 68 yesterday and i got out of work early so why not ride.

So last spring i changed my lift from a 4" economy lift to a Jake's 6" lift and after putting the Jake's kit on i thought my cart would be a little taller and it was the same.!!! So a friend of mine who has the same lift on his cart and has had it on for a couple of years now, i noticed this past fall that his tires were worn off and his tires were toed out very bad and i thought he must have hit something and he said no. So yesterday i noticed that my front tires were starting to do the same thing. Is there a reason for this? I've always had the cheap economy lifts on all the carts that I've had and never had this problem. I thought for the extra money that this would have been a better lift. It looks a lot better for sure.Very disappointed with the Jake's 6" lift. I'm sure it's an easy fix i hope.

Oh I can adjust the camber no problem. It's the fact that I shouldn't have to readjusting ever time I use the cart. Not happy with a $230 lift when a $80 cheap lift worked so much better.

Why would you have to adjust it every time you use the cart? You should only have to adjust it the one time. When you lift a cart there is always the possibility that you will have to adjust the camber.

I know i did that when i put it on. Took it for a good trail ride and adjusted it after the ride. Took it to CAW and had to adjust when i got back from that. Now after yesterdays ride i need to adjust again. Trust me this is not my first cart and i have never had this problem before. This is my first 6" Jake's lift and probably my last as i think im going to put the economy lift back on. I love the look of the Jake's but i would rather just get on and ride not adjust every time i get done. I will adjust when i get home tonight and give it one last chance.

That's weird that you have to keep adjusting it. I have a 6 inch jakes spindle lift on mine and don't have that problem. Maybe I just got lucky.

With the economy lift the spindle movement remains the same so once you adjust the tie rods all is well. With the jakes there is much greater spindle movement so the distance between the the steering arm and the spindle varies a lot. This causes large toe in changes.

Tom, are you adjusting the "toe in" or the "camber"?
