Front Tire Rub on Precedent
Looking for suggestions to resolve a front tire rub on the front trim when turning sharply on my non-lifted 2008.5 Precedent. Lo-pro 215's on 12" wheels. Tire and wheel package came on the cart, so I don't know the offset but can measure it later if needed. Has anyone noticed a height difference when swapping to the HD front spring? I gained about 3/4" tire clearance in the rear when upgrading those springs. The same 3/4" gain in the front would solve my problem. I've also seen mentions of using shims to gain clearance but haven't yet seen where they are shimming or what they are using for shims. Any help?

There is a 1" spacer you can get for the front leaf, most of our sponsors will have it, I got one and never installed it but will when I get time.

Found this one
1/2" I find it pricy though, there is another one way cheaper. https://www.golfcartking.com/club-ca...acer-1-2-inch/ |

Re: Front Tire Rub on Precedent
Thanks for the help. I wasn't finding much of anything when searching for a "shim". Now that I am looking for a "spacer", I'm finding several sources. BuggiesUnlimited has it for under $30.
