G29 camber solutions

My 2011 G29 has a camber issue.
The top leans in on the front wheels.
I read a thread a while back (and cannot find it now with a half hearted search effort) about a guy who made shims and placed between the spring and cup on his struts. I like the idea, just don't like the idea of tracking down the metal and drilling them out.
I am also entertaining the idea of new springs up front to get rid of the tired ones. I have looked briefly on Google for heavy duty ones and found None.


My questions to you very knowledgeable folks out there...
New shocks? New springs? Or both?


It is causing me issues on the dirt roads I ride because the tires leaning makes the front end want to turn like a motorcycle when one is in more soft dirt than the other. If I get on hard pack, or asphalt, it rides fine. And its not just "bogging" in soft dirt, That is a whole different feeling.

Subscribed. I would also like to know if a new set of front shocks would help?

It would be the first place to start. Maybe a minor lift with basic longer shocks.

I have a jakes 3 inch spindle lift.
Not sure if that hurt things or not.

I can see how springs on a 5 year old"golf course cart" can get saggy.

You guys with new cars, I don't know what the suspension looks like, but if it's similar to a G22, if your experiencing negative camber, put in a 1/16' to an 1/8 inch more tow-in. That usually fixes a Yamaha camber problem. Its not a bad thing to have a degree or three of positive camber on a Yamaha!!
