Default G16 gas model stops running after an hour

I have a 2000 Yamaha G16 that always starts and runs great for about 60-90 minutes or so (about 6-8 holes of golf). Then it stops moving. You hit the gas and it cranks, but never fires and takes off. Let it sit for a couple hours and it will fire right up and work fine again for another hour. I've changed fuel filter and even swapped out the fuel pump with a known good pump, neither of which helped. It seems like maybe a vacuum lock or possibly overheating. Anyone had this problem or able to shed some light on what might be causing it?

Thanks!

JN6-85640-01-00 TCI Unit

OEM part is MUCH more reliable than aftermarket...

Yes to all above. New TCI will fix it. Problem will get worse & worse. I once tested this theory until the cart wouldn't drive 500 feet (across the parking lot to put it away). Funny, it was worse in summer. Those TCI can be tricky, when you have to drive it an hour to get it to fail (better have brought your spark tester, and use it quick, before the problem disappears).

Thanks for the quick responses! I'll give it a try and let you know if that resolves the issue.
