Thanx guys, I found it. It's on the driver's side, rear of the "square cross member frame".
J10-032876, so I got bought what he said it was; 1979, G-1A. Yee ha... |

I had some G1 it was stamped in the frame between top of shocks and painted over, you had to lean in under the body to see it from the rear with a light and clean the tube good. Those were mid 80s carts.
