Default G2 Osillation Problem

My G2 started oscillating speeding up and down on flat or decline surface. I put new fuel pump, new carb, but didn't help. Any information would be appreciated.

So is it oscillating side to side or surging?

Surging I would guess, it shuts down then speeds up. As long as I am under load like going up a hill it doesn't surge but constant power. Im perplexed?

It was running great with good speed then all of a sudden started shutting down then surging.

I can put it in neutral and open the throttle and it oscillates rpms up and down.

You are likely hitting the rev limiter. Likely caused by a new clutch problem. Check belt width first, should be over 1 inch wide & resting at the top of the pulley on the rear clutch when cart is at rest. Then rev it up in neutral, while watching the front clutch, the belt must make it to the top of the pulley, or real close. I bet you have a broken weight in the front clutch.

Didn't see the new clutch. Sounds like a broken weight to me.

By "new clutch problem" I meant "a problem that wasn't this bad until the weight let go", not "it's a new clutch".
