2015 XRT slipping clutch I think
Hi everyone,
I have just bought a 2015 Club Car 295 XRT . It was owned by a security company who racked up 4000hrs but only on flat parkland. The Kawasaki FH680 motor runs very well but when I put my foot down on the flat or start to go up a hill it feels just like a slipping clutch in a car so assume thats probably the problem. Belt looks new and it was always serviced regulary. Thought maybe all those hours running on flat ground may have done something bad. I have never played with one of these clutch systems before but am confident I can pull it/them apart if need be but am on an Island in the Pacific and defiantly absoluty no parts and I think I have the only Buggy here. Is it normal to replace one or both clutches or can I buy parts and repair them and what is the best way to find the problem. I will have to get the parts from the US. The Island is Santo in Vanuatu which used to be called the New Hebrides and was occupied by the US in World War Two and some of your Fathers may have been stationed here. Quite a bit of American history here. Any help appreciated Cheers Jim Last edited by jimjan; 11-19-2017 at 06:27 AM.. Reason: wrong model |

Maybe the belt is worn?
Have you made sure the clutches are working properly? |

Thanks Black Death,
The little that I know about these clutches is only what I have read on this forum and from that I know that they are both opening and closing. That was while the vehicle was stationary, have not looked at how they work while driving.Belt appears to be in excellent condition. |

Sounds like the belt is worn out or maybe the belt is a little long, as in wrong size belt

I found a belt part number for a 2014 XRT with the 680 Kawasaki engine, Club Car Part number 102374901 . I don't know if they are the same or not but they probably are.
