Default G1 gas best battery

What is the best size battery to run In a G1? Mainly would be concerned at nighttime use. Running colored lights under the cart headlights taillights and radio with small amp.

I have a standard group 24 auto battery, you'll probably want / need something bigger than a power sports type.

The battery size is one factor. Another is the output of your voltage regulator when all of your accessories are on. A good functioning charging circuit should be putting out 14v or so to make sure that that battery is staying charged. That said, a portion of your 14v will be going to your accessories and there is a chance that there might might not be enough left to keep the battery charged up. It's not a big deal to adjust it though. Jack the back of your cart up, turn all of your accessories on and run the motor 1/2 speed or so. Make sure that you have enough voltage at the battery; 14v or thereabout. If it's less than that then adjust your voltage regulator up some according to the manual. There is one posted here somewhere.
