G16 can't remove input shaft cover
Trying to remove the input shaft cover. Looks like a bearing or seal needs to come off the broken shaft first. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Eric.

Re: G16 can't remove input shaft cover
Can't be sure, and I've never taken that apart, but if that collar is splined it appears to be hung up on burrs on the splines. Does the collar stop abpruptlynat what appears to be a snap ring groove? Are the corners of the spines peened at the groove?

Collar doesn't move. Their is a groove for a snap ring but none was on the shaft.

Collar is just stuck, and must come off. Not part of the input shaft, just stuck on the splines.
