pulleys don't line up
89 club car gas pulleys don't line up eats up belt

bought it 3 months ago lost the belt put on a new 1, 2 months ago just lost another 1 . Looks like the pulley on trans is not aligned with the lower pulley . Checked and everything seem tight pulleys , motor mounts , pulleys seem to open and close

Any chance one is an old 7/8" wide original clutch and the other is a newer style 1" wide clutch?

Show us a picture of both the clutches.
More info here. However the clutch issue below usually doesn't result in chewed-up drive belts, just some jitter and shake on take off. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-bad-ugly.html |
