02 rev limiter

This is just to double check my assessment and advise.

02 club car. Will not start just turns over. Pulled plug no spark or just occasional spark.

Disconnected eye connection from the rev limiter. Sparks and runs no issue.

So this would mean replace the rpm limiter and I should be good to go. I was not sure that removing that wire does not mean a different issue.

Also can I run the cart as is as long as I do not go full throttle? Just while I wait on the part?

Yes, sounds like rev limiter is bad. I'd replace it and you should be good to go.

You can run it without it (lot of people do, but use a tach so the dont over-rev) but be careful.
