Default EFI speed increase

I just picked u a 2015 Precedent with Subaru EFI motor. It was a 9MPH slug so I adjusted the throttle cable in the floorboards a bit it woke up at 22 MPH however trying to take off with it slow is hard. It acts like you have to push the pedal down pretty far then if you slightly push more it starts and surges, a little farther and it takes off. Seems as though what ever trigger the solenoid to engage may need to be adjusted as well kind of out of sync any assistance is appreciated

You'll need to back off the adjustment under the floor until it starts off smooth again.
That's not there to adjust speed. Speed adjustment is done at the governor and is tricky to get right.
Club Car sells a high speed cable for about $20 that has a stiffer spring to pull the governor arm further. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/p...ith-subaru-efi

The High speed cable works well. You can increase the speed with the stock cable AND get it to accelerate smoothly, you just need to play with it and make sure nothing else has been jacked with. Once you've done a couple dozen, it gets easy.
Governor adjustment on these cars is not required.
