2005 club car precedent wont tuen off

I have a 2005 club car precedent and today all of a sudden we were driving it and went to stop and it wouldn't stop running.....it would just idle like a car and not turn off...even with turning the key off. The only way I could get it to stop was disconnect the battery....if I connect again it just starts again.....any ideas? We have had this cart a month or so and not had a single problem from it |

Sounds like the solenoid bridge is welded. Tap on it with a screwdriver handle a couple times and see if it un-sticks itself.
Don't buy a solenoid from an auto parts store because they will burn out in no time. Get an Original quality solenoid from a dealer or one of our site sponsors here. |
