Any Way to Increase Low End Torque?
without having to go to a controller? Just installed my new motor, which has a ton of torque but not until the 5th solenoid kicks in (older 5-sol Club Car).. That makes it pretty difficult putting it on a trailer because it wont climb the ramps unless you floor it and then its to fast..
Thanks Cuz |

Re: Any Way to Increase Low End Torque?
These old solenoid carts perform the job they were designed for quite well .... beyond that, any modifications are simply over tasking the system. Mods like taller tires and bigger motors just throw the drive system equation out of balance.
I wish there was a simple solution but a controller conversion is the only option I see 4 you .... 48v and a 400-500a controller should put her on the trailer real nice |
