swithing a 96 DS motor to a 99 DS motor
This is a 48 volt stock 1996 DS Club Car. I would like to put the 99 motor in.
Is it possible to switch the older motor for the newer motor without a complete overhaul of the wiring system? A1 and A2 seem ok but the newer moter is marked F1 and F2 instead of S1 and S2 and show to be wired thru the speed controler instead of to F&R. If anybody knows i would appeciate the help. |

Welcome to BGW.
Nope, won't work. One is series and the other is a SEPEX. Not without swapping EVERYTHING. |
