Default measuring voltage at charging port

So why is it on an OBC cart that you can't measure pack voltage across the two main postive and negative ports, but have to measure between the positive wire going to battery 1 and the center (gray wire) to get pack voltage?

Because it requires the OBC to "close" the negative line to the main battery negaive cable/

Because Club Cars are stupid, that's why.
