02 ds 48v diode from big post to big post keeps blowning after u move cart & stop help

The diode fits on the small posts NOT large posts. The resistor fits on the large posts.: make sure that the side of the diode with the band is attached to the battery + side of the solenoid

Diode does not go from big post to big post, it goes from small to small.
Load resistor goes from big to big

Sounds like your solenoid cannot handle the power being demanded by the controller. May be burned or pitted connector in the solenoid preventing full power from passing and trying to use the resistor as a pathway.
