Default 1988 ezgo

I have a 1988 ezgo,
we put in a new piston,clutch. the plug has an orange fire. when it does start and goes in reverse we try to put in forward it wont move just tuns over? can anyone help?

check the crank seals.......when its running in reverse spray carb cleaner on them if rpm,s change than seal is bad.......jack the rear up to do this......i have seen plenty that would run in reverse but not forward that seals were bad...........................................

it runs for a little bit then it slows down cant get the speed it used to have what is the compression should i check it?

I put a new muffler on my 1984 ezgo and now it seems to have lost power
do i need to adjust the carb?
with old muffler it ran great, it would climb and run a lot faster
now it sounds like it missing.
