Default Re: Heavy Duty Running Boards I can stand on ?

I do like the built in mudflaps and the overlap over the floorboard. I was thinking maybe I could run a couple of sticks of 1 inch square tube or strapping across underneath and bolt them to the frame and underside of the boards, stiffen them up even more. That way my wife could stand on the passenger side board, she weighs around 390 lbs , sometimes less if we don't get our food stamps on time.... Kidding,,, kidding !!!!

Did you ever get a response from Scotty on the running boards for DS and Precedent models?

Well, I am a NOOB at this forum thing. Still trying to figure out how to contact members. I will try in the morning . Planted another 34 trees on my meager 5 acres and it was 102 degrees today, brain fried, going to bed : )
