EZGO ST Express HOT terminal
Hi All~
I'm hoping someone can help me out! I've got 2 EZGO ST Express' (the six passengers). They are the same make, model, and year, but the similarities seem to end there. One of the carts is heating up the negative terminal like crazy! I'm basically roasting through starter batteries right now. I replaced the voltage regulator and the starter/generator to no avail. What else could be causing this? I'm thinking I will re-wire the whole cart this evening as one of the wires may have a short? The thing is, the negative wire is a naked wire, and the only other wire connected to the negative terminal is a ground wire. So what if they're grounding somewhere else than the battery? That shouldn't be a big deal. Can it be something with the starter solenoid? What else? I'm kind of stuck here, so any advice would be very much appreciated. |

Re: EZGO ST Express HOT terminal
Replace the negative cable with a new one. Should solve the problem.
Oh, and welcome to BGW! |
