internal to external starter/generator
I'm not getting anywhere on repairing my internal starter/generator on my 78 ezgo. I hunted through old post and cant find any info. If I add a pulley on my clutch and move to an external starter what happens to my ignition system? Can the points stay in and still be used? I would put the armature and housing back together but eliminate the wiring for the internal starter/generator. Last question where should the wire go that is connected to the points?
