Re: stereo enclosure
I highly recommend this. Before the end of the year I was romping my cart through some puddles. I had water come up over the front cowl, on to my dash board. The water got in behind the detatchable face, and blew the radio.

Re: stereo enclosure
Yes. If you have the cart out during anhy kind of inclement weather, you definitely want one!

Re: stereo enclosure
My cart sits outside under a canopy all summer at the camp so I put my radio up under the roof using a mount I found at AutoZone. wires run down through the posts.

Re: stereo enclosure
I had one on a boat I used to have and it worked great. Even protected it when I hosed the boat down for its pre-summer cleaning.

Re: stereo enclosure
Thanks for the replys guys. I think it will be the ticket. Ruined one stereo already . Dont think I want to do it again. For $80 bucks its kind of pricey but worth it in the end. Got to have tunes when cruzin.

Re: stereo enclosure
Where are you mounting. that is a complete enclosure. Could get just faceplate about half that cost.

Re: stereo enclosure
Think I will mount it right in the glove box or even just under it. I would get just the face plate but it still leaves your stereo exposed . There are no sides in the glove box area to protect the stereo from weather on the old marathons(84).
