At this point I would do two things. First I would hook up my computer and see the throttle response. If It is showing throttle I would think the mcor is not causing the problem. Then I would call Alltrax and see if they thought it could be a controller issue because they would fix it or replace it at no cost.

I replaced my mcor when I got my Alltrax and all jerkiness went away. So if you were willing you might consider getting a new mcor anyway even if it is not the cause of your problem.

Also, others have had luck removing the mcor and cleaning the terminals, you might try that.

Interesting note, I have connected cable laptop/controller and went back to default settings after trying many, the cart was still jumpy at takeoff and sometimes needed to push with my foot Fred flinstone style to get reverse happening, I decided to bite the bullet and head off for a game of golf half expecting to break down, after about 3 holes all went smooth nice takeoff and ran like a standard cart, def. slower than when first installed ie no turbo takeoff but all normal, driving home on a slight downhill even felt like some engine breaking? I thought the alltrax disabled that setting? As I said earlier I have installed new Mcor so I doubt I could have 2 faulty ones. Sorry to hijack post with my cart but just trying to fill in as a comparison to see what you have experienced but it does seem to be a Mcor/ alltrax bug.

I guess my question is why hasn't alltrax fixed the problem. There is definitely something there. I'm going to replace my mcor and if it runs great. My fear is that the hard jumpiness has taken the drive out or the motor. I'm already sick of this thing.

That I agree with, it has been a longstanding issue.

I am following along and new so I don’t understand it all. I have been considering a controller upgrade, can you guys tell me what you meant by longstanding problem with the Altrax? and what a mcor is ?

Thank you

Alltrax seems to have problems with the mcor. Like me mine accelerated fine, went to the new controller and it became jumpy. You can reprogram and maybe find a solution or maybe replace the mcor and find a solution.

My situation is mine started not to jumpy but got worse quick and after about 10 rides now I'm dead in the water and move other than jump back and forth.

I will say it seems Alltrax is pretty good on customer service and if my new mcor doesn't fix the issue then I will find out first hand. I just hope the jumpy throttle hasn't ruined a rear end or motor we shall see soon.

Hey Hawgsalot, any success with your programming? I finally got the update loaded from alltrax, my cart is smooth and fast takeoff again, but I feel I have lost some top speed, It's called the clubcar3a.zip alltrax sent it to me. Cheers

What is a MCOR? What does that mean or do? Thanks

Alltrax has an upgraded throttle map for the MCOR & Vglide throttle input devices. You just need to install it or buy from somebody who can install it for you.

Yea they always do but does it work?

None of the others worked they were just a throttle map.
