Haha I'm the greatest angler ever!

Whatever you decide, do not skimp on the reducer. The $25 48-12v ones on ebay are tempting but they are crap! Get a nice 20 or 30a so if you want to add anything else (radio etc) in the future, you can

WOW... You were reading my mind!

Where would you suggest I start to get smarter on the basic wiring? I manage 200 plus tire and auto stores, could send it anywhere. But as I get older I get more satisfaction in fixing it myself.

You're at the right place. Take a look in the stickies on top of the board and read them all.

Go there to check out parts descriptions and wiring.

Read through old posts too!

Sweet. I need tires for my truck. And my carts. We get the orphan and widow price here, right?

Tell me what you are looking at, I will research and give you my best advice. Looking @ radial tires for my cart as we speak. Changed over on my Polaris AWD 500 , and could not believe the difference. Smoother, and more traction.

Back again. Got the lights working for a long time. Now they are cutting off for a couple of minutes while running and coming back on.... first place to start?
