Default Need help replacing Driven clutch!

So I bought a new high torque driven clutch (28 deg) and a heavy duty belt on eBay and I thought it would be just a matter of removing the center bolt and sliding it off. Well, it's not moving. Before I go prying on it or hammer and chiseling it off, I was hoping someone could give me a clue. Thanks guys!
Oh yeah it's on my 02 Ezgo.

you need a puller for that one. from what I understand it is the same one you would use to remove the drive clutch on the gas carts. You need a 3/4" fine thread bolt and a piece of 1/2" round stock. The stock goes in the hole and the bolt goes in behind it. f when you tighten. That's how it worked on my Drive clutch anyways. I say puller but you are not actually pulling you are pushing it off. f you don't have a bolt, you may have a trailer hitch ball lying around. It has 3/4" fine threads, if its not the 1" one of course.

The ezgo driven clutch can not be removed that way. It is on a splined shaft, and can get stuck over time. Spray it liberally with PB-Blaster around the shaft. You will have to let the PB-Blaster do it's magic for quite a while, depending on how stuck it is. Mine took over a week, and alot of heat.

I'll definitely try some pb blaster. I've seen a guy selling a driven clutch puller on eBay which looks pretty nice, but I'm not interested in spending $78. I have the means to remove it, just hoping someone had a "trick" to help.

Do you have a link to the puller?

He's even got a link to a YouTube vid to show how it works.

Killer, as 1989Marathon said PB. the heck out of it. I did mine the other day, Squirted it down and let set about 4-5 times. I didn't use heat, i took my small neoprene hammer and a peice of 1/4"square stock(steel) and lightly tap it around the backside. Just enough to break it loose, then put some more PB to it.Came right off, hadn't been off in awhile. Don't BANG on it. Hope this helps

I can tell you that my clutch would not have come off with that puller. The inner sheave would have broken first.

That poor guy has a 0 feedback too, probably why no one is buying it.
