Default I need help! id this cart

i bought this thing from a winery, i see its a 98 from the vin, but how can i find out if its a 36 or 48 v, the trojans have no markings i can see saying it

look at the batteries. There should be either 3 holes for filling water in each battery which denotes 36 volt, or 4 holes for filling water in each battery for 48 volt. It will be easiest to just pop one of the caps off on the batteries since Trojan "water hole caps" have one big cap to cover all the fill holes, unlike some other brands.

post a picture if you are still unsure after the above and we should be able to quickly tell you.

How many caps are on each battery ? ....3 caps = 6 volt battery x 6 = 36 volts. 4 caps on each battery = 8 volt battery x 6 = 48 volts.

The "This Vehicle Equipped to Limit Downhill Speed" is a dead giveaway that it's a Regen Car...... Regen cars were never made in 36v....... It's a 1998 (Regen1 only made from 1996-97)........

My conclusion

1998 DS Electric 48V Regen2

its 48 volt, bought it for 100 bucks off a winery outside of town, batteries still have a bit of power in em, but i have no charger to change it... doh
