Carb setting for 98 txt with 4 stroke engine
I have been asked to look after a 98 txt, which hasn't been looked at for years. It suffered from non starting, but would start on easy start and keep running and restart when warm. I changed plugs and air filter and fuel filter, reset valve clearances which were way too tight, and stripped and cleaned the carb. The carb had two of the three drillings by the throttle flap blocked. These were all cleared, and cleaned out. The pcv pipe was split so this has been replaced also. The carb was rebuilt and refitted and the engine started as soon as the petrol pumped through. With so many things wrong, I wanted to check the carb settings. The primary jet is the only adjustment I can find, can anyone give me a reference starting point as before I was asked to look at it many people have been fiddling with it. The engine runs ok, the owner says it's much more powerful than before so I suspect it was only running on 1 cylinder before I did all the work
