Default Help identifying EZ-GO - Beverage cart?

Hi,

A friend is selling this older EZ-GO, but I'd like to find out more about it before jumping in. He believes it was a beverage cart. From the little research I've done, it looks like a Marathon era cart based on the cowl shape, though the top with the handles looks like Medalist era.

Has anyone seen one like this before? Will I have trouble finding long-travel lift kits, or other parts for this? Any guess as to what it's worth?

I'm hoping to one day turn it into a Willys CJ2A lookalike.

Thanks!

There's a little sticker beneath the driver's seat that says 4 cycle. It's barely visible in one of the pics.

If it's a 2 cylinder (4 cycle) it would be a Metalist and have the same front axle as a TXT, don't know about the rear on a beverage cart, probably the same with heavy springs. I like it, be cool with a lift.

Oops, for some reason I read your post as "2-stroke or 4-stroke". I'll have a look at the engine next chance I get.

2 stroke = 1 cylinder
4 stroke = 2 cylinder

The late model marathons were 4-stroke also.

Eureka! I found a picture in this thread with the same body style. Appears to be a BC360 beverage caddy.

Looks kinda cool with the lift kit and paint job.
