Default crankshaft balancer

anyone ever run there g8 without this my crankcase is shot eggshaped from where the balancer was slopping around not really worth buying a new engine ran great i always thought it was clutch noise untill i replaced the clutch and the sound did not go away

Others have done it some say it vibrated some say it did not, can't seem to find a consensus on it. Gokart guys do it all the time but run high rpm. I would not be afraid to try it. Some have tried to repair the case and not had very good luck with it. It need precision machining and likely a bushing/bearing pressed in, or weld it up and machine. It would take some doing to locate it properly in a cnc its the setup time that kills you, might need a special fixture you have to make, etc. It might be easier to machine a whole new cover they do it for clones that race, but not going to be free lol. My g9 didn't knock at all but I put a clone in it, it was twice the power for half the price. Since I trail ride the extra power is really nice, plus I just like to screw around and spin the tires lol.

doosman any vibration as bad as this was its a miracle i didnt have other issues from that chunks of aluminum were in the crankcase

No vibrations, it is a one cylinder engine.

Ive put a few together without the balancer and they still run just fine.
