Xrt 1550
First time post. Please forgive any etiquette mistakes. I'm in dire need of advice from someone familiar with club car xrt 1550 front differential. Any help would be immensely appreciated. Pm at will.

Re: Xrt 1550
Maybe more detail. Have a 2014 diesel XRT 1550. Retired united rental unit. Front diff seals, bearings were all gone and being 'lubricated' with caked in clay. Rebuilt half shafts, replaced bearings and seals. Ring / pinion seemed to be in fairly good shape. Replaced thrust button and plate. Waaay noisy on the road but engages to 4wd fine now. Something isn't right. I don't mind going back in and replacing ring / pinion but I'd like to understand the thrust button and engagement mechanism before throwing money at more parts. Anyone familiar with the thrust button mechanism and adjustment? Thanks in advance for any insight.
