Hi Andy - I showed your pictures to my mechanic and he said it wouldn't work because my brake adjuster is on the top...? So, the search continues! Thank you for all your help!!! Anyone who comes across it or a way to improvise - PLEASE CONTACT ME!!!!!

Hi Andy - just got back from vacation and read your post and it seems to make sense. Looks like I need a new mechanic if that is the case. I wouldn't know what to do but put over 800 dollars recently into the cart and need to do something to get the brakes going. Wish you lived closer! The cart is being towed back today - I take pictures of the brakes and send them to you, would you mind taking a look? :)

Hi Andy - BeatleJane again - question for you about my 1983 ez go marathon...when I put on the brakes and stop and then push the gas pedal to go the brake pedal sticks - any idea what the problem could be? I have to yank it up by hand! :)
