Default 2007 PDS Buggy Upgrades to 48V need some opinions input

I Plan to do the following upgrades and need your opinion and feedback.

2 ga cables
600 amp alltrax programmable controller
8 DEKA GC 45 batteries
Mechanical Rear Discs

I plan to use the 36v motor for now, and is this a problem, if so what motor to upgrade to.

The factory settings on this controller, will it come for speed torque etc, I really don't want to change right away, I am getting 27 with speed chip, lift kit and atv tires now.

Want to add an Alltrax Xray speedometer, Has anyone installed one.

Those must be tall tires? Speed chip is 19 mph on stock tires.
600 is overkill for all but the biggest baddest motor.
400 is all the engineers recommend for that motor and 500 is all I ever put to it, but i do so with caution, restraint, and an eye on my speed and loads.

Scotty thanks, I am getting a deal on the 600, will this burn up the motor, and will I have to change any settings

Yes it will unless you dial it back to run only on 400amps if that is possible on the DCX 600. How tall are your tires? What lift are you running? Anything smaller than 26" tires is not possible to yield 27mph on stock equipment.
