Thx for all the info guys. We are in a relativel flat area so I may be ok with the solenoid. Its just my wife our 8 month old and myself on the cart but I am a big guy (320 6'2"). I am gonna get some wheels and tires soon prolly gonna go with a 12" lo-pro around 18"-20" tall tire. So we will see what happens after that. Thanks again for all the usefull knowledge!

The hill that did in both of my solenoids is very steep.

Heat is the tattle-tale.

Any Cable, Connection or Component that gets too hot to hold, is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Give the cart some TLC and the little one will be driving it around the yard before you know it.
