06 Series TXT Speed upgrade
Is there anything you can do to upgrade performance? Being a noob I have seen a "freedom" jumper for the PDS, but no mention(maybe by design) of boosting performance on a series TXT. Pardon my ignorance as this is all new to me...

Re: 06 Series TXT Speed upgrade
Series carts are more of the workhorse kind of golf cart. The series wound motor produces more torque and less speed than the PDS motor. The series motor is more forgiving and tougher when it comes to abuse... You can put a bigger controller/solenoid in it, upgrade the cables and F&R, and install bigger tires and or a bigger motor....... or you can increase voltage to boost a series drive system.

Re: 06 Series TXT Speed upgrade
What do you intend to use the cart for and how will it be modified.
How much load will it carry on what kind of terrain? |

Mainly subdivision use with some people moving duties for special events there. There are some hills but nothing major. Mods include lift kit, 22" tires, radio (nothing too outlandish at this point), & turn signal kit. What is the best way to go about putting a brake light kit on it?
