Sorry I was off site for a while. But I see you were smart enough to figure it out.
 The reed switch was an ignition interlock, it disabled the cart when charging... so be careful mow, run the charge cord thru the steering wheel when charging so somebody doesn't drive off with it plugged in. Good luck |
