How to DIY Series Cart
How can i make my 1992 Series cart go faster without spending a heap of money ??? i wish i could find a DIY tripping the switch and wiring up toggle switches that will engage the speed side, one for the tow/haul, etc... has anyone ever done anything like this??? i am not good with the whole resistor thing so if you have a diagram of that i could try it...

Welcome to BGW! Can you explain in a little more detail what you are asking about?

Re: How to DIY Series Cart
ok no problem... I have a 1992 Marathon that i want to speed up... It is a series cart... i am not wanting to spend money on a new series box, so i want to use jumper wires sent to toggle switches to change the speed, torque, etc. on my cart... everywhere i find on the web about doing this was for the regen type carts...
i basically want to trick the controller into thinking that it is a speed controller instead of a stock controller... thanks for the timely response... |

Re: How to DIY Series Cart
No such trick exists for a series cart. They are what they are. If you want more speed, you need more volts, shorter gears, or taller tires. If you figure out some voodoo wiring trick to triple the top end for $1.98, you will be an overnight millionaire.
