click noise when pressing accelerator
92 EZ GO Marathon cart, when you press the accelerator you hear click noise, back up beeper beeps, i believe clicking is coming from the solenoid.i charged the batteries,its an older ezgo charger,its reading 15 amps,i assume they are charged.im new at the electic carts , any help would be greatly appreciated,thank you

Buy a volt meter and see if the batteries are really charged fully. Once that is known, then the trouble shooting may begin.

Here is a State of Charge chart so you'll know if they are "Fully" charged or not. The voltage readings should be take at least 6 hours after charger shuts off automatically. The voltage on all six batteries should be within about 0.3V from min to max. What type Marathon - Resistor or Controller? Which Charger? |
