led tail lights

I'm guessing the led's that are in the tail lights are white but appear red on account of the red bezels. On my next build I want to use clear tail light bezels. Does anyone know how to make them appear red through clear bezels?

No, that's not what Boke is asking about, although it could solve his issue if he wants to chase that particular method. What he's asking is if these golf cart LED tail lights

have red or clear LEDs inside, and if they are clear, can they be colored.

Boke, my cart is at camp. I can answer the first part in one week. As for coloring the bulbs, check at a craft center. They may have clear red paint suitable for bulb painting.

I got some led rear lights off of a Cadillac that I was experimenting with and they are red leds with a red lens. You may find yours are red leds too.
If they're not red, you can get bulb dye at most auto parts stores to make them any color you want!

I just don't want them eventually turning pink.
